Why can’t I use my standard 120V Dyson Airwrap® in other countries?
Like most specific use power devices that are designed for specific voltage types, your 120V hair appliance is designed for use in the country where it was purchased, and MAY NOT BE COMPATIBLE WITH 240V found abroad,even when using an adapter and/or converter. Using it with an adapter or converter can damage the device, cause a fire hazard and may void your device's warranty.
How do I know if I need the 120 or 240-volt device?
Per Dyson’s website, the 240V Airwrap® is safe for use in the following regions:
Australia, China, Egypt, Europe, Greenland, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Malaysia, New, Zealand, Peru, Philippines, Russia, Singapore, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom.
The 120V Airwrap® is safe for use in the following regions:
United States of America, Canada, Japan, Mexico, Taiwan.
Do I need an adapter or converter?
Our 240V devices have the standard Type C Europlug. If your destination is one that requires a 240V device, but does not use Type C Europlugs, you will need an adapter. Our 120V devices have the standard U.S. Type B plug. If your destination is one that requires a 120V device, but does not use a Type B plug, you will need an adapter.
Converters are not necessary.
What does the price include?
The listed price includes rental of the selected device BASE and a Flyaways travel case for the selected duration. Four attachments can be included for an additional fee as listed on the device’s page. Free shipping and returns are included.
When will I receive the device and when do I need to return it? What if I want to extend my rental period?
Your device is guaranteed to arrive by 10 p.m. the day before your first rental day but is possible it will arrive earlier. Your device should be scanned in with the return carrier by noon the day following your last rental day.

How far in advance should I reserve my device?
You can reserve your device up to one year in advance. To ensure availability, we recommend booking at least three weeks before your first rental day; however, we can accept orders up to five days prior.
Do you service the devices?
Yes. We take proper measures to ensure all devices are cleaned and inspected, in between rentals.
Can I cancel or reschedule my order?
If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us at hello@rentflyaways.com at least 7 days before your first rental day. Cancellations made fewer than 7 days before your first rental day are not eligible for a refund, and no refunds or credits will be issued for partially used rental periods. If you would like to reschedule your rental, you may do so by contacting us at hello@rentflyaways.com at least 7 days before your originally scheduled first rental date.
What if I need more time to return my device?
We know things happen. Should a situation arise where you need more time to return your device, please contact us at hello@rentflyaways.com and we will be happy to work something out. Additional fees may apply.
What if my return date is a Sunday or a holiday?
If your return date falls on a Sunday, you’ll have until 12 p.m. local time on Monday to return your device to the shipping provider.
If your return date coincides with a holiday, New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day or Christmas Day, you’ll have until 12 p.m. local time on the next business day to complete your return.
Is expedited rental available for last-minute requests?
Our standard rental process requires at least 5 days' notice to allow us time to prepare your device and for timely shipping. If you need a device sooner, please email us at hello@rentflyaways.com. We’ll do our best to accommodate your request and can provide a quote for expedited shipping options.
